Plot: 6/9. Asimov created a mythology on the alpha and omega of the universe around the problem of entropy.

Asimov listed people in five different eras (when people could store the sunlight to energy massively and abandon all the power plants, when people had to migrate into another galaxy massively owing to the overpopulated Earth, when people had filled one galaxy, when people would sooner use their minds to soar everywhere than manipulate their immortal bodies, when all human’s minds were amalgamated into the one called Man, and when all the resource had been used up and the universe was going to die) who once asked AC, the greatest general computer in every era, on whether the entropy of the universe could be decreased.

It always replied that the data was not sufficient for a meaningful answer.

After the matter, energy, space and time had ended, the timeless AC finally calculated out the answer. It then reverse the entropy and reinitiated the universe.

Core: 4/9. Since as we all know, entropy cannot be reversed, how would people and universe be like in the future?

Character: 3/9. The time was too short for me to relate to any character. And AC here was more like a god than a computer I understand because one of the quintessential properties of the program is its finiteness.

World and Others: 6/9. The imagination of 5 future eras and the end and the reinitiation of the universe was indeed impressive at least in 1956.

Overall: 5/9. Asimov was definitely an unforgettable character in the science fiction.
